Gemological Service and Evaluation of Stones and Diamonds
Among the jewelry appraisals in Bergamo that we offer our clients is also the evaluation of precious stones. Thanks to the experience and expertise of Luca Daverio, certified gemologist, we are able to provide an analysis of your stones and furnish an official document that certifies their characteristics and market valuation.
Certification is fundamental for objectively defining the value of a precious stone, as it precisely describes its characteristics and qualities, such as in the case of the so-called “4 Cs” of diamonds (color, clarity, cut, carats). The certificate is also essential when you wish to take out insurance or resell the stones. We provide gemological certification also for investment diamonds and stones.

In our workshop, in addition to jewelry appraisals, we perform various services, including jewelry repair and cleaning.
Repairs
These include all interventions that allow for adjustment, restoration or adaptation of jewelry: for example, fixing the clasp of a broken bracelet or necklace, or resizing a ring. Another type of repair concerns prongs, which are the points that hold inset stones: over time, they can wear down, becoming thinner and thus putting the security of the stones at risk. Regular review and maintenance of jewelry is useful for identifying potential problems in time.
Ultrasonic Cleaning
Among our services is ultrasonic cleaning, which is very effective and fast, allowing jewelry and stones to be restored to their original splendor in just a few minutes. Through the use of ultrasonics, it is also possible to detect any stability problems with precious stones and then resolve them with appropriate repair intervention.
We offer professional cleaning also for stones that could be damaged by ultrasonics, such as emeralds, topazes, tanzanite, aquamarine.
ENGRAVINGS
Engravings are another service that we perform directly in our Bergamo workshop within a few days.
The client can choose between two types of fonts and thus personalize the chosen piece of jewelry.
