1980s

Chased jewelry in gold, silver and copper
The typical image of the 1980s was dimension; the important thing was to appear; it was a period characterized by extremes. In jewelry, the dimensions are extra-large, becoming one with the clothing and aesthetics of the time. After the excesses came the downsizing, and in the 1990s jewelry became wearable “from morning to evening”; the practicality of accessories became the must-have of those years.
Luca’s arrival in 1980 at his father’s workshop brought new energy and a multiplicity of visions; the jewelry produced was enriched with stones and new forms while maintaining, especially initially, the sculptural character taught and learned from his father.

The evolution in these decades occurred by moving from large chokers, earrings and slave bracelets to objects more contained in size and embellished with stones and finely chased friezes, like refined embroidery. The jewelry from the “Heritage” line is crafted with a matte-glossy effect of gold, to characterize and enhance the artifacts and their peculiar sculptural characteristic. The “Spirals” collection was born, one of the most appreciated and enduring, a timeless jewelry line born from a symbol inspired by nature and the universe.
The “Blackwood” collection, designed to combine the beauty and materiality of ebony with the warmth of rose gold inlaid with small colored diamonds or embellished with sapphires and brilliants.
