Daverio1933 represents a brand born from the hands of artist and sculptor Franco Daverio, who in that year created the first copper jewelry pieces, giving rise to an artistic tradition spanning three generations.<\/p>\n

In the early 1980s, Luca Daverio opened the first store-workshop in Bergamo, carrying on his father’s legacy and specializing in the creation of jewelry-sculptures. The showroom became a reference point for artistic jewelry enthusiasts during those years, and his creations were distributed in Italy and abroad, where they were appreciated and commercialized in the 1990s. <\/p>\n

Following the recognition received, in 1996 the brand opened its own retail location in Barcelona, exporting and introducing its unique creations to refined Castilian jewelry connoisseurs. During those years, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona, recognizing the importance of Franco Daverio’s works, acquired four graphic works by the artist that became part of MACBA’s permanent collection. <\/p>\n
