“Franco Daverio’s sources are rooted in the Italian twentieth century, in that tradition of sculpture-making that knew how to look at art history as a source of narrative themes” Franco Daverio, Works ed. Mazzotta 1995 <\/p>\n

This premise by Fausto Melotti helps us open our eyes to the “Daverio tradition,” a vocation toward art and beauty that began in the early decades of the 1900s with Franco’s impetuous artistic vein, who from childhood expressed his inner and dreamlike world through the creation of instinctive and emotional images.<\/p>\n

The creative heritage and family sculptural tradition shape Luca’s creations, leading him to pursue a career as a sculptor of jewels. After working with and learning from his father the processing techniques and creative freedom, from the early 1980s he creates innovative jewelry, art in reduced format expressing a millennial artistic world, a tradition and practice accumulated through decades of passionate work. <\/p>\n
